Hi there! As you might know, I’m spending time in sunny California’s City of Angels and as you probably can imagine, I am definitly enjoying it to the fullest. But for not just hanging around and spinning tumbs at grammar class, I’ve decided to fill my extra time with a little extra work. That’s why I’ve started to gather my impressions on digital film, picked the best pictures I’ve taken, uploaded them – at least yet a part of it – to share my experiences with you. Hy Folks! It’s already been weeks since I landed at LAX Airport. After a 12-hour direct flight from Zurich, I had seen 4 movies in a row and was surprised how fast time had flown by. Of course, all the passengers had to wait in line before picking up their luggage, because the security officials at the checkpoints had to take fingerprints and photos and also had to inspect all documents very carefully. But the cool thing that happend afterwards was, when somebody from school had come to pick me up and was already waiting outside with a nameplate in his hand. I felt like I was in good hands. This being my first time in LA, I saw many palm trees and smelled the fresh air while driving on Santa Monica Freeway to my place in Los Angeles, sitting in the backseat of an elegant, black stretchlimousine whooohaaa! And for the cream on top, the friendly driver asked me «Where do you come from, Switzerland? Awesome!» Yeah, what else, dude. Welcome to Awesomeland aka the United States!
